The Theater at Madison Square Garden is not the massive space at MSG. It’s probably 4 or 5 thousand seats. The Shins were good. I wasn’t blown down (until the Modern Lovers cover). I think they might be better on record. Wincing the Night Away is a good consistent album. I feel like the earlier ones had more “hits.”

The crowd was mostly seated except the 12 or so superfans in front of me.
